Srinagar, Dec 08 (KNO): In the ongoing Sports Council Premier League (SCPL)-2020, a football match was on Tuesday played at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium between JK Sport Council Football Academy and Novelty Football Club.
Despite heavy rainfall, both the teams played excellent football and in the end Novelty Football Club won the match by one goal to nil.
In the Kabaddi, three matches were played today at Indoor hall Polo ground. In the first match, Acme Sports Academy beat Snow Poultry kabaddi Club by 54:24 points. In the second match, Hussaine Sports Club beat Angles Mission Kabaddi Club by 35:20 points and in the third and last match of the day, Aakash Enterprises Kabaddi Club defeated Heaven look Kabaddi Club by 35:27 and points.
Due to the unplayable ground conditions, no matches were held in Hockey and Volleyball disciplines today.
The Premier League 2020 being the first of its kind is being organized by J&K Sports Council in collaboration with respective sports associations—(KNO)
